[REVIEW] BARULAB Skincare Products
Hello skincare junkies out here ! I'm a person who love to try out different kinds and brands of skincare , I probably lost count how many types i have in my drawers . Mom always scolding me for having so much but yet we only have one face to use . LOL . Ok mom. I swear whenever i travel to different countries , i'll buy something from their local pharmacies or stores to try things out and find the best products that suitable for my skin . If you ever been to Korean , well i dont need much words raving about the skincare street in MyeongDong. Before i started my review for this product , allow me to share a little bit about my own skin conditions .
When i was a teenager , i dont care about using any toners , serums or any kind of moisturizer . All i did was cleaning my face using a bath soap or sometimes when i'm kind of hardworking i'll use a proper face foam cleanser . Mom been nagging all day and night asking us to take proper of our skin or else we'll regret and cry over it next time. Now there's no point for me to cry over a spilled milk. I started my acne journey when i was about 21 years old , all over my face , some with pus and most of it are red bumps ! It was such a depressing moment in my life that i was so stressful and hate to see myself in the mirror. I hide myself from going out because i'm lack of self confidence , i'm afraid of how people will comment on me. Finally , i met one of my trusted dermatologist in my home country and i took some medicines to heal all my acnes . Cut long story short , i'm glad that i'm acne free now and i started to take good care on myself and skin. Self love is important girls , dont be like me and regret later .

Somehow , probably due to my past acne experience , i usually trust on dermatology products . Ok , lets start with the review now :
To me , a proper cleansing is essential for our skin . Always purify your skin before you replenish. Some might take it lightly and even skip this step. It's a big NO NO . Imagine you spend your whole day at workplace , the dusts and radical that you exposed to . It will stucked on your face and bacteria starts to develop and there goes the formation of acne , blackheads and whiteheads . Especially if you're a make up person , a deep cleanse is much needed to remove all the remaining residue that sits on your skin surface. I've tested this Barulab Black Clay Cleansing Foam for a few days now . When i first heard of this brand from StyleKorean , it's totally mind blowing ! I'm more to oily to combination skin on my T-zone , so i would say that this products really did a good job on my face. The key ingredients of this cleanser is their signature Jeju Volcanic clay , Black clay and charcoal .
The texture works effectively by removing of sebum and dead skin cells with these three main ingredients that contains plenty of minerals without leaving the skin feeling stripped or dry . Below are the illustrations of how the dirts are being removed from our pore :
The reason why i think that this cleanser is suitable for me because a sensitive skin like me need a gentle yet effective way of cleaning all the demons out from my pores !The smooth cream mud texture minimizes the damage to the skin, providing a moist skin after a cleanse . At least you wont feel tight like any other foam cleansers out there . =)
Advise to those sensitive skin peeps : I highly recommended this product if you're looking for a right cleanser that helps to sooth and cleanse your skin ! For packaging wise , the size is kind of standard for a 100ml . Not travel friendly but good to go for normal use at home .

Thankfully that i got this product on hand in such a right timing . My skin was breaking out last week due to my monthly menstrual cycle , i'm not the lucky girl that acne-free during that period . How i wish to be flawless ! So acne will start to pop like one or two on my face , mostly on my cheeks and jawline area. During my recovery period , i applied a generous amount of this cream on my whole face . I used to dab a lot acne drying ointment on my acne (brand that start with O , if you know which brand i'm referring to) and the next moment i noticed that the surface of my skin will turn super red and inflamed . The next day i got a burnt skin , like sunburned and it really hurts my skin so badly. But after i tried on this non irritating Salve Cream , its totally a game changer to my skin . It helps to repair my problematic skin and heals quickly than i expected with their certified functional ingredients such as Defensil Plus (30,000 ppm) , Amino Acid Complex (50,000ppm) and lastly Madecassoside (1,000ppm) . If you wondering what is ppm , it means parts per million" and it also can be expressed as milligrams per liter (mg/L) . The texture as you can see in the picture , yes it is rich and creamy . But it does'nt leave any greasy residue on my skin surface so dont worry to try it out ! Overall , i love how the cream was kept in a tube form instead of a tub container . This is way more hygienic that dab in your finger and dab on the whole tub , you might not know how much bacteria on your finger and you wouldnt want to ruin the whole tub , do you? 30ml size just a nice one , you dont have to worry if it exceed the liquid cabin limit during travel !
Next , let me introduced you their Barusol Expert Repair Boosting Mist . But how often do you use mist ? To me , i use it few times a day whenever i feel so hot when i walked under a hot sun . I'll spray like two to three times to cool and sooth my skin .Or i'll take it as a make up setting after i've done all my make up . But i hardly use it as make up setting due to i'm not a make up person , so yeah . I remembered when i was travelling to Japan last year , it was winter time and my skin almost cracked due to the cold and dry weather . I sprayed all over my face to stay hydrated . I'm glad that Stylekorean sent over this product to me and i immediately test it on my face after unboxing . The special pump that used by Barulab is so cool that allows it to produced a fine mist without using any harmful nitrogen and the essential water that they use give a boosting effect that strengthens the skin moisture and retain its ability . The special ingredients in this products are essential oils and centella extracts that soften the rough and uneven skin . Also the 17 amino acids that form the amino acid complex form acts as a moisturizing barrier on the skin, preventing any moisture from evaporating . A good mist is worth to invest if you're travelling so often , just a few sprays and tadaaa you're done ! This size of this mist is slightly too big and not recommended if you're tagging along during your trip , you might need to transfer it to a smaller bottle . Not too handy also if you put it in your bag , slightly bulky and heavy with their 180ml bottle. Overall this is a good buy !

So dont worry if the mask will be too rich or harsh on your skin. Since mine is sensitive skin , i'm gonna try out the teatree one as my first experience. The shape of the sheet mask fit perfectly on my mask , not to big nor too small . Just nice to cover the whole face.That generous amount of essence in each pack of mask is 10ml !
