SOME BY MI is not a new brand for me. I have been hearing it all around and I have been using their products for years now! SOME BY MI simply means 'something by miracle' , indeed it is miracle for my skin HAHAHAHA. The brand believes that nature is true miracle worker for healthier skin. Its products are formulated with mild, skin-friendly ingredients. I have used about 6 items from their acne range which is the green in colour. Especially their AHA/BHA 30 Days miracle cream. And I'm on 4th tub now. Still the best moisturizer that I have tested. It suit my skin really well.
I always love to talk and share a little bit more about my skin types and conditions before I proceed with the product sharing. Those who read my reviews previously, you guys should know I'm actually belongs to oily and acne prone skin since young, even until now. LOL. Recently I had a very bad skin due to travelling and PMS, skin started to be very dehydrate and acne pop out non stop like volcano! I hate it that I had acne prone skin. It's kind of hard to control at the same time. Still trying to get the best skin care for my skin.
Although I belong to the oily skin type, but someday, my skin just turned out really dry and I can see its peeling. No matter how much of sheet mask I slammed on my face, it just didnt help at all. Stylekorean send in this set of products just on time for me! I developed breakouts on my forehead and along the jawline. I was so concerned about my skin with the redness due to breakouts. I was trying to solve my skin problems – excess oil, lifeless skin, dehydrated, dull and dry skin.
Well, I think nowadays propolis or we called it royal jelly is really something in trend for skincare, even in kbeauty industry. People use Propolis for thousands of years, it has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. In my case, Propolis helps me with acne, but Propolis ampoules are good if you want to get the honey skin look. If you're allergic to bees then I recommend you avoid this ingredient but if bees are not a problem for you - it's an ingredient that can change your skincare game. Some By Mi uses 65% of Propolis Extract in this formula. Honey Extract is an antibacterial ingredient. Well, I really need something to heal my acne redness on my cheek.

[SOME BY MI] Propolis B5 Glow Barrier Calming Toner 150ml

This toner has a scent, it's more like a flower scent than a honey scent, but it's not as heavy as in the cream. I simply loved the smell and it gives a soothing feeling upon application. The texture is more on runny water-like texture which is easy to absorb into our skin. The good thing is it doesn’t feel sticky at all. Totally up to my liking! The packaging of this series is quite standard and same with the rest of the range. Just that it is just orange in colour. A bottle of 150ml probably could last me a long time and I find it quite reasonable. I have tested it for a good 10 days, and no complain. I could see a little glow on my cheeck area but not much. In terms of calming, still monitoring as I could see any obvious results too. Overall, I rate this products 3 stars.
How to use:
Apply an appropriate amount onto skin using hands or cotton pads and pat gently for better absorption. Add a generous amount to cotton pads and apply directly onto dry areas for 3-5 minutes for better moisturizing effect.

A quick introduction for this calming cream. The ingredients are almost similar like their toner and they even have the same claims which helps to soothe the skin and strengthen skin barrier. If you have dry skin, this cream is ideal for you too. It also contains other key ingredient like: They have 70% of Propolis in the cream which I enjoy a lot, similar amount had some propolis amount that worked for my skin.
- Pro-Panthenol™ (Propolis 710,000 ppm + Vit B5) strengthens skin barrier & calms down any irritation. Propolis also has antibacterial & anti-inflammatory properties.
- Jeju Canola honey (90,000ppm) + Manuka honey (10,000 ppm)+ Royal Jelly act as humectants, add moisture to the skin & work together to bless her skin with the classic propolis glow
- Centella & Mugwort are extremely calming and Ceramide NP + Niacinamide help strengthen/repair skin barrier to protect it from any harsh environment.

I simply adore the texture of this cream. It melts into skin as claimed and absorb pretty quick almost immediately. The gel itself is light, slightly runny & spreads well. There's a heavy sweet scent (added fragrance, so take that into account if you are sensitive to it). I personally don't mind it too much, but would have preferred the scent to be milder. Absorbing into the skin takes a minute. While patting it down, it might feel slightly tacky but give it a few minutes and the gel settles down to a neutral finish. Not too matte, not too glowy. It doesn't feel heavy or greasy/sticky and leaves the skin feeling smoother, plump & supple with a nice hydration-moisture balance which I really like. What is amazing about this product - it makes my skin glow. The secret of skin glow is in propolis, and this product works perfectly on the skin and under makeup. I simply adore the texture of this cream. It melts into skin as claimed and absorb pretty quick almost immediately. Too bad I had oily skin, this cream is good in repairing and soothing skin.

How to use:
As the last step to your skincare regime, take an appropriate amount* on the face, and gently press the face with your palms for better absorption.
*A pea-sized amount is enough for daily skincare.
Extra tip: On days when your skin is particularly irritated, use the cream as a sleeping pack by applying 3-4 times more than your regular daily amount to experience calmed and soothed skin the next morning.

Lastly is one of my top list favorite wash-off masks by SOME BY MI. Needless to say, this is also another vegan-friendly and cruelty-free mask! I really need to rave about this mask. This is pretty similar to the brand: Fresh Beauty. Each tub was 100G and the orange color tub just so appealing again for me. I don’t know why but I’m just a sucker when it comes to packaging. The aesthetics of this mask is just honestly so pleasing. The SOME BY MI Wash-Off Mask was created to sooth and calm skin, with the help of the propolis extract. This range products generally suitable for all skin types and it doesn’t matter if you have oily, dry acne skin, you still can use this mask. I normally use this mask when I had a very bad skin day or redness on my skin. My skin tends to look red and irritated after i poke my acne. So this wash-off mask is the savior! You can use this mask after washing your face and leave it for about 15mins.
The texture of the mask is like a gel and jelly, but not exactly jelly that hard for us to apply on skin. In fact, it does stick on my fingers as I applied it to my skin. But best to apply it via spatula to keep the mask clean and free from bacteria from our fingers. The best thing about this mask is there are a cooling sensation and effect on your skin. Although it is like a jelly texture it does rinse off very well without leaving any residue on your face. No extra effort needed to scrub off the mask on your face. Another thing that I could feel my face was less oily the next morning and I see that glow on my cheek and tighten pores too! In terms of fragrance, it is almost similar to the serum and cleanser. Just smells like a squeezed orange/lemon on your face. It does not overpowering or causes any irritations on my skin. I would suggest using this mask thrice a week is sufficient to keep your skin healthy and glowy! I do recommend that you try it, and might as well try the whole SOME BY MI Honey line, if you feel like it, too.
Overall, I would love to rate this mask is 5 stars and definitely will repurchase again!
How to use:
Use the mask after cleansing and toning. Apply the mask onto wet face and gently spread an adequate amount onto the skin avoiding eye and mouth areas. Rinse off after 10 - 15 minutes with lukewarm water.

The next product I tried from SOME BY MI is their Propolis B5 Glow Barrier Calming Serum, one of the products that I really looking forward to trying it out myself. I have read a lot of good reviews and how people rave about it. Thanks to Stylekorean Global, now I got the chance to try it out myself! The bottle was such appealing and I’m dying for it. LOL. he Some By Mi Propolis B5 Glow Barrier Calming Serum is a hardworking serum to calm acne, strengthen barrier and boost skin radiance. With 73% of propolis, mixed with honey extract, niacinamide, and panthenol, the Propolis B5 Glow Barrier Calming Serum gives the skin a serious glow. It is also antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, making it the perfect serum for tired, unbalanced skin. As I’m approaching my 30s, I need to add serum in my skincare routine though. If you have dull and uneven skin like me, consider to add this serum in your skin care routine. It definitely helps your skin to look better and healthier balanced skin.

SOME BY MI actually recommends using this serum twice a day for better results. I tend to keep my morning skincare routine pretty simple and light than at night time. So, I basically use this serum only at night before I off to bed. You can use it twice a day, of course, it really depends on your skin type and how much you understand your skin. Oh ya, I put on my serum only after my masking session. About the texture, this is a slightly runny serum, super light-weight at the same time and very nourishing. It spreads easily and is absorbed quickly into my skin without leaving any sticky residue behind. It left my face glowing upon application, without feeling oily. This serum comes in a 50ml pump bottle. I love serums that come in a pump bottle which is easier for to apply and more hygienic as well. Also, the SOME BY MI serum does not have an overpowering smell, in fact, the smell was pretty mild so still acceptable for me. I am being totally honest here when I say that the first thing I noticed on my face when using this was the instant bright glow this serum gave me. I mean there are some products with which you see results after gradual use or over time. But this is exceptional and I’m totally SOLD by this serum! 5 Stars for this serum! And I'm looking forward to buy the next bottle now!
